Delivery
Stocked Goods (subject to stock availability and security checks)
- Standard delivery items will be generally be dispatched by Royal Mail Standard Parcel or 2nd Class post, usually within 2 working days. We may upgrade (with no additional cost to you) to ParcelForce 48 if the parcel is very heavy or unwieldy.
- Prompt delivery items will be dispatched by 1st Class Royal Mail or ParcelForce 48 within 2 working days.
- Express orders received before 12.00pm will generally be dispatched Standard ParcelForce24 or Royal Mail Special Delivery the same working day. Orders received after 12.00pm might not be dispatched until the following working day.
- If the goods are out of stock, we will advise you of the expected delivery date and give you the option to cancel your order.
- Please note that some areas of the U.K. are subject to longer delivery times because of their (relatively) remote locations. Next day delivery is not guaranteed in the following areas: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
Goods Made to Order and Non-Stocked Goods
- We will advise you of an expected delivery time for your order.
- All sizes are approximate, especially with handmade goods, but we do try to be accurate.
International Shipping
- We ship orders to many countries around the world. Due to the various shapes and weights of our products, international delivery costs will vary, depending on to which country the package is being sent and the weight and size of the package.
- The delivery charge will automatically added to your basket when you select the delivery country and no VAT will be charged if it is outside the EC.
- Transit time, usually 3 to 7 days, can be as much as 30 days in busy periods or for distant countries.
- Please note that we request you contact us for the delivery cost of some large items and you should not order these on line from outside the UK mainland
Change of delivery address
- If you wish to change your delivery address, please contact us as soon as possible. If your goods have not been dispatched, we will be happy to make the alteration free of charge, if to the same delivery country.
- We are unable to alter a delivery address after your parcel has been dispatched.
Gift Wrap
- Our unique, eco-friendly gift wrap doubles as an extra present! Rather than use paper which will quickly be discarded, where possible we wrap your gift carefully in a natural cotton bag finished with a green ribbon.
- For children's presents, though, we do use paper, as that seems more appropriate.
- Multiple items will be wrapped as one gift
Where is my order?
- If you recently placed an order and you're wondering why you haven't received it yet, you should first check whether we've posted it to you. Usually, we will send you an email to let you know if there is a delay, so please check your inbox and junk mail box. If that does not help, please email us with your query and we will generally reply within 1 working day.
- If we have dispatched your order, your package may have been taken back to the PO depot. We would suggest, in the first instance, that you check at the local PO depot before contacting us.
- If your package is lost a replacement will be sent.
Returns
- Damaged goods. We will replace, or give a full refund, for damaged goods. Please contact us within 14 days.
- Goods made to order. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept the return of goods that we order specifically on your behalf, unless they are faulty or incorrect through our, or the maker's error.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Other Returns. If you return stock goods to us, at your expense, within 21 days from the purchase date of such goods, in perfect condition and, with the original packaging and original invoice/receipt, then we will refund you the cost of the goods but not carriage. Please contact us before sending the goods back.
How to return/exchange
- Please ensure that you contact us before returning any goods.
- Please return the goods in all the original packaging, as they were sent to you. Include your name, address, order number, tel. no. and whether you would like a replacement or refund. Please tell us about any faults.
- Take your parcel(s) to your nearest Post Office and send them to:

- Please Note: When sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; we strongly recommend that you send it using Signed For post.

We accept the following forms of payment:
- Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta and Maestro
- Cheques drawn on a UK bank
- Postal Orders
- Bankers' Draft
- BAC
Please make cheques, postal orders & bankers' drafts payable to Objects of Design Ltd.
We reserve the right to decline an order for any of the following reasons:-
- The product you ordered is unavailable from stock or out of production.
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- The identification of a pricing or product description error.
